found📍bureaucracy hell is finally ending?

Hamburg’s coolest startup and tech events, delivered to your inbox every Monday.

Editor’s Note

Hey, dear reader!

Last week was a big one for Europe. At the World Economic Forum, Ursula von der Leyen announced the launch of EU.INC — a single pan-European entity that can be set up within 48 hours for just €100 🇪🇺

Bureaucracy remains one of the leading blockers for founders in Germany and across the continent. If EU.INC delivers on its promise, doing business in Europe could finally become a little less painful.

At my previous company, I led our expansion to Spain — and I still get chills thinking about the bureaucratic hell and the weeks, if not months, it took just to incorporate a subsidiary 😬

That’s why I’m genuinely bullish on EU.INC. Yes, it’s only a first step. But in a time of growing economic fragmentation, it’s a strong signal that Europe is serious about making life easier for founders.

Long live Europe!

And now, let’s see what’s happening in Hamburg this week.
